In Episode 40 we focus on using discernment in the end times. The times we are in are like the times of Noah. We are joined by special guest, Jessica Speas, to discuss common deceptions like the New Age, yoga, and how the book of Revelation was created as a gift to guide us.
In This Episode on Biblical Prophecy, The End Times, New Age, Yoga, and Revelation:
We focus on how mothers can use discernment during the end times. Many Christians ask, “what’s the big deal?” Well, Jesus is coming soon!
In 2 Peter 3:3-4 we read. “Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
Something often missed and overlooked in this verse: the scoffers are believers. They are the naysayers that say Jesus isn’t returning soon and burying their head in the sand.
Many will say “oh, we’ve been hearing this since WWI.” The truth is that wasn’t that long ago. It’s actually when things started happening. The Balfour Declaration happened in 1917. That was the first step to get Israel back as a nation.
It was also the first recording of various earthquakes. Not just one here or there, multiple earthquakes reported all together. It’s not because they didn’t have detectors to detect earthquakes. They have been tracking earthquakes for over 2,000 years. It’s because they started setting off in 1917 and haven’t stopped.
Jessica spent a year creating a Biblical timeline that shows the end times accelerating rapidly over the past 100-200 years.
To say these things have been happening forever isn’t true. It has truly been accelerating.
Churches that focus on Biblical prophecy have congregations that are set on fire. In John 16:4 it says, “I have told you this, so that when their time comes you will remember that I warned you about them.”
God gave us Biblical prophecy as a gift.
The biggest deceptions in history: there are so many that they cannot fit on a paper.
Knowing and understanding prophecy is important because it allows us to decipher deceptions. An example of this is with vaccines. The Bible tells us in Revelation 18:23 that we will be deceived by pharmakeia.
Medical programming is a very real thing. Along with many other things, like birth.
Unfortunately, so many moms are deceived by this and find out after their child has been injured or they experience birth trauma.
We need to measure things up with scripture and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.
The New Age and yoga other examples of deceptions that have crept into the church.
The roots of yoga are in Hinduism. Each pose pays homage to the gods and goddesses of the Hindu religion. The goal of yoga is to worship these false deities. It has nothing to do with Christianity and is centered around another religion entirely. Christians can still stretch without participating in yoga.
Those who read the book of Revelation will be blessed.
It is not a scary book, it’s important. By avoiding it, we play into the enemy’s hand.
